What Our Members Are Growing

Real Florida gardeners, real results. These are the stories from our Facebook community.

🌺
Sandra T.
Hernando County, FL

"I replaced my whole front lawn with native wildflowers three years ago. Now I barely water anything, and my yard is full of butterflies from March through October."

James R.
Spring Hill, FL

"The Om Grown community garden completely changed how I think about food. I never knew you could grow sweet potatoes in Florida sandy soil. Now I grow bags of them every fall."

🌿
Maria G.
Tampa Bay Area

"The native plant profiles on this site are the best I've found anywhere. I used them to design a pollinator corridor along my back fence. It's stunning β€” and zero maintenance."

🌳
David K.
North Florida

"Started a food forest based on the guide here. Two years in and my loquat and moringa are already producing. The layer planting concept really works in Florida's climate."

Om Grown Community Garden

Based in Spring Hill, Florida, the Om Grown Community Garden is the beating heart of this project. It's where ideas get tested, relationships get built, and food gets grown for real Florida families.

The garden uses native plants, organic methods, and community labor to demonstrate that growing food and supporting wildlife aren't competing goals β€” they're the same goal.
